Sunday, April 26, 2026 – Isolation to Community (Alive Again — Living Resurrection Every Day)
Where Are We Headed This Week?
We live in a time where it’s easier than ever to be connected—and still feel completely alone.
You can sit in a room full of people…
scroll through constant updates…
and still feel unseen.
Resurrection pushes against that. Because resurrection life is not meant to be lived alone. This week, we discover that following Jesus doesn’t just change your relationship with God—it brings you into a new kind of community.
A shared life.
A known life.
A together life.
A Deeper Look
Acts 2 gives us a picture of what resurrection looks like when it takes root in people.
This isn’t just individual transformation—it’s collective.
“They devoted themselves…”
“They shared…”
“They ate together…”
“They experienced joy…”
This is not an accidental community. It’s formed around a shared center—Jesus. And underneath it all is a deeper truth found in John 10: We belong because we are known. The Good Shepherd doesn’t gather crowds—He calls sheep by name.
That means:
- You are not anonymous
- You are not overlooked
- You are not alone
And when people who are known by Jesus begin to live together, something powerful happens.
Isolation begins to break.
Walls begin to fall.
Joy begins to multiply.
Resurrection forms a people, not just individuals.

Weekly Practices
Practice: Move Toward Someone
Each day this week, take one intentional step toward community:
- Start a conversation
- Invite someone to coffee
- Send an encouraging text
- Sit with someone instead of staying alone
And as you do, reflect:
- Where have I been isolating myself?
- What keeps me from moving toward others?
- How might Jesus be inviting me into deeper connection?
Pray:
“Jesus, help me move from isolation into the life You created me for.”
Because resurrection life isn’t just alive in you—it’s alive among us.
