Thread of Grace
You may not recognize Him at first—but Jesus is already walking with you.
In the confusion.
In the questions.
In the disappointment.
And as He speaks…
as He reframes…
as He reveals…
Something begins to burn again.
Resurrection life doesn’t rush clarity—it awakens it.
A Simple Practice to Carry Into the Weekend
Practice: Revisit the Road
Take a few moments and reflect on a recent disappointment or confusing season.
Ask yourself:
- Where was I expecting something different?
- What did I not understand at the time?
- Where might God have been present that I didn’t see?
Then pray:
“Jesus, show me what You were doing.”
Let Him begin to reframe the story.
Closing Prayer
Jesus,
Thank You that You are present—even when I don’t recognize You.
In my confusion, in my disappointment, in the places where I’ve lost clarity—You are still walking with me.
Open my eyes to see You.
Open my heart to understand.
Take the parts of my story that don’t make sense
and begin to reshape them with Your truth.
Let something burn within me again—
a renewed awareness of Your presence and Your purpose.
Amen.
